Travers received his bachelor's degree through University of Colorado at Boulder and his MBA through Regis University at Denver. In 2009, he began his accounting career with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Officer. He spent 7 years with the IRS before deciding to join the private sector, bringing all his years of tax knowledge with him. He is currently an enrolled agent. Travers is also a member of the Air National Guard, and has been since 2004. He currently resides in Exeter, NH with his family.
